Sweet T

I like to call Truitt "Sweet tea" since he's just so cute and sweet toward everyone. I am posting this picture knowing that I've shown this to you before, but it's one of my favorites. If you are from Memphis and reading my blog I can't wait for you to meet him.

His new tricks are dancing the twist and patting his own mouth while he yells, like an Indian. He is very close to walking, but sees no need because he can get there just as fast or faster crawling. His birthday is coming up on the 5th and I'm trying to decide if there should be a pinata. What do you think?

Emotional

Today was an emotional day. Josh and I announced that we are leaving our sweet church here in Houston, TX. We are moving, in June, to Memphis, TN. We are excited about the opportunity and I know I'm going to love it there, but today is sad. I just wanted you to know our news and to pray for our transition. For now, I'm exhausted because I cried my eyes out in front of the WHOLE ENTIRE CHURCH today.
Thank you for your kindness and sincere well-wishes Southwest Central Church.
Thank you Sycamore View Church in Memphis, for loving us already and for your encouragement.

Love, Kayci

I love my husband

My favorite

Josh gave me a great gift when we returned from Lubbock. He had cleaned the house, made dinner and bought me TULIPS!! Here are pictures so that you can see how beautiful they are. Every time I see them, I smile. Thank you Josh! He comes home tonight from Michigan! I'm so excited! Josh, I love the way you love me. - Kayci

Transportation Parade

When we were in Lubbock, TX Truitt and I got to attend the annual Kindergarten Transportation Parade. These kids spend time in the classroom learning about transportation, terrain, and all had their own cute little driver's license. The celebration at the end of this unit is a parade where they show off their car/plane/boat/tank... by marching down the halls of the school. All of the other kids in 1st - 4th grade came out and cheered them on. Sooo cute!

This one little boy has a plane and I got a shot of all the 1st graders cheering him on. He was the last one in line. Adorable.

Our trip to Lubbock

Handsome boy

1st Easter! The Easter bunny came to visit him in Lubbock.

Visiting a school for the first time. Memaw teaches here.

Relaxation.

Truitt and I went to Lubbock this past week. We had fun with Memaw and Papa. Truitt and I hung out with Papa most of the day and then Memaw joined us at night after school. We had a great time and can't wait to see them in May for T's birthday party.
