I just caught part of the memorial service on Good Morning America for those lost on Sept. 11
th. Wow, what an emotional morning. I remember exactly where I was when it happened. I entered the campus center at
ACU and saw everyone huddled around a TV on the wall. At first I thought it was a special effects show, but when I realized this was real life panic set in and I HAD to find out immediately where my brother Korey was. My oldest brother worked for a financial firm based in NYC at the time and he had to make trips to NY often. Thankfully he was not on any of those planes, but could have been if the attacks had been two weeks earlier or later. I can't imagine the pain I would feel today if my wonderful older brother had died on a plane or one of the towers that day.
To those that did experience loss that day, I'm so sorry. My thoughts are with you, especially those children who lost a parent/s.
Where were you that day?
