I seem to have misplaced them.

We're back from the West Texas Girls Conference held in Abilene. I was given the opportunity to share what God had given me with around 600 girls and sponsors. I always get that nervous energy before I speak, hoping that I won't mess it up and fail God, but he was so faithful. I'm always energized by the girls at this conference; their honesty and excitement to be with their "girls" is such a breath of fresh air. I was tough on them and called them to the life that I struggle to live, but I have a feeling they will rise to the challenge.
Josh was able to be there and this was the first time for him to see me speak at an event. I never want him to miss another one. He is truly my biggest fan! Thank you for your prayers and sending me emails, texts and phone calls of encouragement. I am blessed to have such a great support system that encourages what I believe to be, my gift for this season. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart!
My prayer:
God, I give you praise for the hearts that were changed by the experience this past weekend. You allowed my thoughts to flow smoothly and despite my inadequacies, worked through me. I'm crazy about you Lord and I am amazed at the revolution that is stirring in the hearts of teens today. Give them hearts that crave you and mentors to walk beside them every step of the way. You are God alone. Give me a heart that can't help but follow you, is inspired by you and chooses you as my Lord, not just my savior.
I love you father, Kayci
